Our comprehensive capabilities span the entire project lifecycle, from preconstruction, estimating, permitting, and design coordination through construction management, trade coordination, and closeout. The result is a more responsive, tailored construction experience built around the unique demands of each project.

While commercial construction is our primary focus, we bring the same disciplined approach to select residential projects, including custom homes, major renovations, additions, and ADUs.

Dan Mirakhor

Founder and President

Dan Mirakhor founded LA Design Builders in 2021 with a vision to bring a higher standard of professionalism and service to the construction industry.

Before launching the company, Dan spent more than a decade in corporate leadership, managing large teams and complex operations while earning his master’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC). Alongside his corporate career, he became an active real estate investor, overseeing ADU developments, multifamily properties, and residential renovations. That firsthand experience ultimately inspired him to make the transition from real estate investor to builder.

Today, Dan leads LA Design Builders with a distinctly personal approach, remaining closely involved in the work and relationships behind the company. His combination of business leadership, real estate experience, and construction expertise gives him a unique understanding of what it takes to move a property from vision to completion.

Dan lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, where he enjoys spending time with family and continuing to invest in the communities he serves.
